Synopsis
Zas, a mischievous alien resembling a black cat with a devilish tail from Planet ZP, crash-lands on Khao Kala, Thailand, after being sucked into a black hole. Stranded on Earth, he plots world domination by studying human history with the Simulataverse, a 4D simulation device, aided by his AI companion, Juay.
As he explores Southeast Asia’s past, from prehistoric migrations and the rise of great civilizations to the spread of religions, global trade, and colonial encounters. Zas shifts from conqueror to curious observer.
Along the way, he is pursued by Zuzi, a spy from his home planet, and faces Catfather, a stray cat mafia leader scheming to steal his tech. His mission takes a turn when his friend Xoxo and the tyrant Marshal Payet arrive, threatening his newfound home and forcing him to choose between conquest and protecting Earth.
Blending humor, adventure, and history, Zas and His-story of Southeast Asia offers a fresh, engaging journey through the region’s past, captivating students, educators, and history enthusiasts alike.

ZAS
Age: 18 ZP Years
Personality: curious, skeptical, a little bit of narcissistic
An eccentric scientist from Planet ZP became a fugitive and accidentally got lost in a black hole, crash-landing on Earth. Seeing Southeast Asia’s prosperity, he plans to conquer the world. But first, he must learn about the history of humans, the dominant species. He also has a high-tech gadget bag at his disposal.
Juay
Age: 3 ZP Years
Personality: smart, knowledgable, polite
Zas’s AI robot companion is programmed with a female voice and serves as a trusty advisor, offering vast knowledge of the universe (though sometimes with a few inaccuracies). Equipped with a variety of hi-tech gadget, one of them is the Simulataverse. Her belly screen displays icons that change according to the situation.
Zuzi
Age: 16 ZP Years
Personality: confident, ambitious, sensitive at times
A female spy from planet ZP, she was ordered by Marshal Payet to track down Zas and bring him back for punishment. The two share a complicated history, with a mix of sweet and bitter moments. They often clash due to differing ideologies and beliefs, and sometimes act out of stubbornness.
Xoxo
Age: 22 ZP Years
Personality: fussy, nerdy, true introvert
A scientist from planet ZP and Zas’s only true friend. They had planned to escape the planet together. But Xoxo got stuck in the toilet with a stomach ache and missed the spaceship (Zas didn’t even notice). He eventually find the way to Earth later, but was tracked and led Marshal Payet’s army to come as well.
A-Kao
Age: 3 Earth Years
Personality: sleepy, clumsy, optimistic and friendly
An overweight, lazy cat from Earth, seen as unevolved creature by Zas (since ZP people evolved from felines). Despite this, he has an exceptional sense of smell and is skilled at finding food. Zas manipulates him into becoming his minion, while A-Kao, with a pure heart, sees Zas as a clever and likable friend, even if he doesn’t fully grasp the world domination plan.
Catfather
Age: 7 Earth Years
Personality: solemn, brave, crafty
Leader of the Three Tigers gang, once had a warm home and was named Kungking. However, he was separated from his owner and became a stray. Due to a misunderstanding, he developed a deep hatred for humans. Upon learning that Zas possesses high-tech gadgets, he plots to steal them for his revenge scheme.
Sal
Age: 6 Earth Years
Personality: discreet, discipline, resolute
One of the two underbosses of the Three Tigers gang, who is slender but intimidating. He speaks little but acts decisively, earning the trust of Catfather. His role is to ensure the gang members remain obedient to the boss.
Pete
Age: 5 Earth Years
Personality: cheerful, funny, generous
One of the two underbosses of the Three Tigers gang, who is addicted to catnip, chubby but quick. He’s usually a cheerful cat, but when it’s time to get serious, he shows no mercy. His job is to gather information on Zas and his group through a network of stray cats.
Marshal Payet
Age: 25 ZP Years
Personality: irritable, overambitious, overconfident
The dictator of planet ZP who is hunting individuals who oppose him, one of whom is Zas. When Marshal Payet arrives on Earth, he also seeks to conquer the planet. A war between alien forces for control of Earth begins. Zas, along with the Three Tigers gang, must join forces to protect the world.
