Preproduction design is important process of both 2D and 3D animation. Generally can be divided into character design, background design, props design and concept design, which let us see who, what and where will be appear in the story. Character design also can be use in various purposes such as mascot, merchandise, toys and etc. As everything has its story, and the story always begin with a character.

STORYBOARD & ANIMATIC

As parts of both 2D and 3D animation processes, sometimes of live-action as well, storyboard and animatic show us how it looks with clearer picture, timing and length before entering the production process. So that we wouldn't waste our time and energy to rethink and redo as we already know the direction.
