Pobsant Roockarangsarith

Zayplay Studio is an independent creative studio founded by Pobsant Roockarangsarith, a seasoned creative, director, 2D artist, and animator with nearly two decades of experience in the animation and digital media industry. His professional journey includes work with some of Thailand’s leading studios, such as Vithita Animation and Animania, as well as freelance collaborations with other renowned names like Kantana Animation, Imagimax, and Fatcat. He has also developed media content for various government agencies including the Department of Mental Health, the Department of Physical Education, the ThaiHealth Promotion Foundation, and the Digital Government Development Agency (DGA), among others.

Besides commercial works, Pobsant has a deep passion for history and culture, particularly of Southeast Asia, China, and India. This interest fuels his personal creative works, including a widely acclaimed illustration series on the Mahabharata, as well as literary works written under the pen name Nanyangxie (南洋邪).

At Zayplay Studio, we are committed to producing original content and building our own intellectual properties (IPs)—drawing from the rich cultural capital of Thailand and Southeast Asia. Our goal is to share these stories with a global audience and earn recognition on the world stage. This mission is driven not by institutional support but by a clear vision and genuine passion.
